We soaked in the jacuzzi for hours and took in the absolutely stunning views of the city and castle. Truly a dream! The breakfast delivered to our room was gorgeous and different each day, showing some real thought behind it.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but it was still acceptable for the experience.

I had a fantastic time here with a beautiful room that had a lovely balcony overlooking the city and I enjoyed a relaxing spa session completely to myself! The room was fantastic! Huge king-sized bed, very comfy. We had a beautiful terrace with direct views of Alfama—so pretty! The bathroom was super clean with a large shower and great water pressure. Loved the heated towel rack too. The jacuzzi was a perfect way to unwind after a long day. The in-room Nespresso was a nice touch for a morning pick-me-up. Just a few stairs to navigate, but the view made it worth it. Definitely one of the best stays I've had!

I had a lovely stay at Casa Balthazar. The room offered stunning views of the city from the large terrace, and the jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette, making it easy to have snacks here. The decor throughout the hotel is charming and adds to the cozy vibe. Having breakfast delivered to my room was a nice touch, but I would have liked more variety beyond just pastries and fruit. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with local dining recommendations. The only downside was the street noise at night. it could be distracting at times. Also, accessing the hotel can be tricky due to steep stairs, which might be a challenge for some. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, but those nuisances could be improved.
